# Welfare Escalation

Visit <https://portal.moodly.education>

First ensure that Welfare Escalations have been activated for your school. You can do this in the School Settings tab.

Next, ensure you have set a Welfare officer in the Manage Team tab. Note: more than one welfare officer can be set.

To escalate a pupil's case to the welfare officer for attention. First select either First Check-in, Second Check-in or Combined Check-in from the Menu tab under the heading Classroom Data:

At the end of the pupil column select the three dots:

Next you will be prompted with a window where you can select Refer Welfare officer

From here anther window will open where you are able to add any additional information. Then click save.

The Welfare Officer will receive a notification, alerting them to the case.

A Welfare Officer can also view all Escalations by selected the Escalations tab in the side menu.

Which will direct them to the following page. Resolved and Unresolved escalations can be toggled by the button in the top left of the page.
