# Add Follow-up Option to Zone

Follow ups allow a second level of customisation. For example a learner may check-in "Unhappy", the follow-up can ask "Why are you unhappy?"

Within the zone configuration, Select "Emoji" from the Followup Type

Clicking Allow FreeText Followup will allow the follow up to be answered as an free text answer, allowing for more configuration.

To add an emotion to a follow-up click the + icon within the follow-up section of the zone

Select an emoji, Label and category to associate with the follow-up and save.

Remember to Save after changing your zones
