Recording Emotions

Recording emotions with Moodly is simple and engaging. Check-ins can either be performed on a classroom device or via the Learner website.
For best results we recommend that a designated IPAD / Laptop be used for check-in. This device can then easily be shared amongst the Learners to allow them to discretely record how they are feeling.
Both the Teacher Portal and Class Check-in Web use your class teacher email and password
Click on 1st Check-in (or 2nd Check-in) under the Class Checkin section of the side menu.
Allow a Learner to select their name/avatar from the class screen.
After selecting their name they will be prompted with a window asking how they are feeling today.
From here if you have enabled a Follow up Question from the Zone Settings another window will appear asking to give a reason why. In our case "scared" is configured this way.
When a pupil has completed their check-in with Moodly a tick will appear in the top right hand corner of their avatar and it will glow green.
If your follow-up is configured to use Surveys, your learner will be prompted with a Survey to answer.
If you want to use the 2nd Check-in feature, the steps are exactly the same, the only difference is selecting the "2nd Check-in" from the side menu.
Once a learner has logged into the app see Setup
The Learner will be prompted with a dashboard of Daily Activities and Active Surveys (if using)
Selecting a Dashboard Tile will prompt the Learner to select how they are feeling.
