Though our appearance has changed, our dedication to providing the highest quality mental health resources and support remains unwavering. This rebrand is a step forward in our ongoing journey to better serve schools and students, making mental health support more accessible and effective.

"Second Check-in": Enhancing Student Support with a Follow-Up

The "Second Check-in" feature is designed to provide an additional layer of support for students. After the initial check-in, this feature allows educators and mental health professionals to schedule a follow-up check-in with students. This ensures that students receive ongoing care and attention, particularly during challenging times.

With "Second Check-in," you can easily:

• Monitor Progress: Track how students are feeling over time and identify any changes in their mental well-being.

• Provide Continued Support: Ensure that students who need extra attention don’t slip through the cracks by setting up timely follow-ups.

• Personalize Interventions: Use the insights from both check-ins to tailor interventions and resources to each student's unique needs.

This feature is part of our ongoing effort to make Moodly a more comprehensive and responsive tool for promoting mental health in schools. Free Text Answer Follow-Ups: Deepening Understanding

We are also introducing a new Free Text Answer Follow-Up feature, which allows students to provide more detailed responses during their check-ins. This feature can be used in conjunction with emojis or on its own, enabling students to express in their own words why they are feeling a certain way.

• Combine with Emojis: Use emojis alongside free text to capture nuanced emotions.

• Standalone Option: Allow students to express their feelings in their own words, providing deeper insights.

Dedicated Website for Classroom Devices

We are pleased to introduce a new feature that expands the accessibility and usability of Moodly in classroom settings: A Dedicated Website for Classroom Devices.

This separate platform is specifically designed for use on classroom laptops, computers, and iPads, providing a streamlined, distraction-free experience for students to capture and share their emotions. Here’s what this new feature offers:

Simplified, Cut-Down UI

The dedicated website features a simplified user interface, making it easier for students to quickly and accurately check in with their emotions. The minimal design ensures that students can focus solely on expressing how they feel, without any unnecessary distractions.

• Ease of Use: A straightforward interface that’s easy for students of all ages to navigate.

• Focused Experience: Designed to capture emotions quickly and effectively during class time.

Separate Authentication for Classroom Safety

To ensure that students are using the platform as intended, the classroom website comes with separate authentication. This added security measure helps prevent students from accidentally accessing other parts of Moodly or interfering with each other's check-ins.

• Secure Access: Class teacher is required to re-enter there Moodly email and password, ensuring privacy and accuracy.

• Prevent Distractions: Designed to be used independently of the main platform, reducing the risk of misuse.

Seamless Integration with Moodly

Even though it’s a separate platform, all data captured through the classroom website seamlessly integrates with the main Moodly platform. Educators and mental health professionals can still monitor and respond to students' emotional check-ins as part of the broader Moodly system.

We are excited to unveil another powerful addition to Moodly: the School-Wide View. This feature is designed to provide schools with a broader understanding of the emotional landscape of their students, giving educators and administrators a holistic view of check-ins across the entire school.
